Santa visited both Payton and Owen's schools this year!

These are different days, different schools... same REAL Santa! Payton was very excited that the real Santa came to their schools! Fun!

The Nutcracker!

Payton's Dance studio decided to put on their rendition of the Nutcracker at the community performing arts center! Payton and her team were the mice! After, weeks of twice a week, 4 hour practices ( I know, crazy) This weekend they put on 3 shows! Friday night and 2 on Saturday! It was a long weekend, but they did awesome!!! We are so proud of our little mouse!!

I wasn't able to get pictures of the performance, but here are some of her and her friends in the dressing room before the shows!

Student of the Month

Payton's school had their second quarter awards assembly. We were told she was getting an award, but we didn't know what award until we got there. She was student of the month for December! Way to go Payton!

Here is what Payton's teacher wrote about her...

"Payton is a super student. She enters the classroom each day with a positive attitude. She enjoys learning new skills and helping her fellow classmates. She completes all of her assignments and always follows directions, given. Payton has great social skills and has made several new friends this year. She has strong leadership skills and other children are naturally drawn to her. I have enjoyed getting to know Payton and I am very proud of her hard work!"

Polar Express Santa Photo

The Polar Express!

This weekend we took the kids to the North Pole!!! It was so fun and the kids loved every minute!

We took them to Williams, AZ to ride the Polar Express!

Here are a few pictures before the train! We got their pretty early to make sure we could see everything we wanted. Unfortunately their was no snow.

Ward Christmas Party!

I took a few pictures of the kids before the Ward Christmas Party. I am glad I did, because I didn't take any at the actual party!

Christmas Parade!

This is Payton's second year on her strut n stuff dance team. This year she is a Tiny!

So we got to put on her outfit for the first time this year for the Christmas Parade!

Thanksgiving!

I hardly took any pictures at Thanksgiving, but here is the kid table! The paper covered table with crayons was a hit!

Mesa Temple Lights

When we are in Arizona for Thanksgiving, it is tradition to go see the temple lights at the Mesa Temple! They do a great job!

It was actually really cold this year, and I have been battling a terrible cold for the past week! You can tell from the pictures, I was feeling pretty terrible! But we had a great time anyway!
