Ward Trunk or Treat!

We had a great trunk or treat last night! The kids had a great time! You can't tell from this picture, but Aafter owen got some food in him, he was happy!

Family Fun Night

Thursday night, Payton's school had a family fun night. It was great! You could have dinner, they played minute to win it games with the kids and then they could trick or treat to all the classrooms. Hats off the the PTA!

Payton saw this Dalmatian costume in my mom's pottery barn catalog, and she had to have it!

Owen does not like dressing up at all. We looked at countless catalogs to get ideas and it was a no go. Then Nate took him to a Home Depot workshop and he came home with this apron. I asked him if he wanted to wear his apron for Halloween! Yes, he was suddenly excited about dressing up. So I got him a plaid shirt, a tool box, hot glued some tools on it so that he could use it for his treat bag and wow... he loved it! He was actually the hit of the party. Everyone thought the tool box treat bag was the most creative thing ever! So funny!

Pumpkin Patch

I took my preschool to the pumpkin patch and I let Payton and Owen tag a long.

Lake Powell Triathlon

The main reason for our trip to Lake Powell was so that Nate could do the Triathlon that they hold there. It was the worst weather by far, but still fun to hangout and watch... from the safety of the car of course!

We missed his transition from swim to bike, (he was too fast for us!) but we got him on the bike!

Lake Powell in October!

Lake Powell is amazing no matter when you go, but it was pretty amazing in October! It's true, it was a little weird being there when it was so cold and rainy, but the water was so calm when we took the boat out! We were also literally the only boat out on the water, which was also pretty awesome!

We found a canyon and let the kids do a little fishing!

We also found time to build a haunted gingerbread house!

Then, Ashley, Travis and Graham surprised us by showing up on Friday! These three had the best time together, and the ducks were pretty happy too!

I hope we can go to Lake Powell again in October. It was really fun!
