Owen turns 5!

Owen is 5! He wanted a fireman birthday party, so that is what we did- complete with a burning house!!

All dressed up! We just happened to have these vests at our house from Nate's work! I think they worked perfect!

Zach Shipp, Tate Curtis, Elijah Ortega, Caden Wegner, Nate Alleman, Landon Hendricks, and Owen!

We played a relay, they had to dress up like a fireman, run around some cones and find the monkey in the burning house, while I squirted them with the hose!

I had a few water games, but all they really wanted to do was swim- so that is what we did!

4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July! Starting with the ward pancake breakfast and then heading to the Lake Forest 4th of July Parade!

Rob Dyrdek's Skateboard made an apperance, though I must say I was disappointed it was on a trailer!

After the parade, we did our usual carnitas at the beach, followed by the firework show at Dana Point!

Camping at the Beach!!

One of the nights we were in California, Grandma and Grandpa took Payton and Owen camping on the beach at the new El Morro State Campground. But first we made a dinner stop at the new and improved Shake Shack!!

In the morning, Nate and I came to the beach and brought them breakfast and hung out at the beach!

Ladera Ranch Pool

We spent one day at the Ladera Ranch Pool with Sarah and Wade. It is a really fun place, a great little water park!

The feed store!

We stopped by the feed store one day. This is the store where my Mom gets her chicken eggs to hatch for preschool. They always have all kinds of animals here. On this day, Payton was in heaven. Not only did they have puppies, kittens, bunnies and baby chickens, they had a baby lamb and they let her bottle feed it! She loved it, it was hard to pull her away!

Owen really wanted to bring this kitten home, too bad his mom is not a cat person!
