Santa Monica Aquarium

During Spring break this year we went to visit Nate in Simi Valley to check out where we are going to be moving. On the way we took a detour to the Santa Monica Pier! It was so much fun! I had never been either, so it was fun for me too!

Hall of Fame 2014

Payton competed her solo at Hall of Fame! She was amazing! Nearly flawless... I say nearly because she actually fell out of scorpion turn, all the way to her hands and knees, but she got right up and finished her solo with such beauty and grace... it blew me away!! She ended up getting a platinum score, First place in her category, Highest scoring lyrical number, and 2nd place overall!! It was an amazing day for her!! We are so proud!!

Girls night!

I have been able to meet some pretty amazing strong women and Unitas Crossfit, where Nate and I work out. We had a girls night to celebrate Kimber having her baby! It was a lot of fun hedging with these girls!

Cultural Celebration Performance

The day of the performance, rain was in the forecast! We live in Arizona and rain is hard to come by, but it was supposed to rain and it was supposed to rain hard!! We anticipated this throughout the day, but were surprised that the rain seemed to be everywhere else, but at the park! Blue skies were above the whole day... until right before the performance. President Monson and President Eyring came to see the performance and to dedicate the Temple. When President Monson came out of his car the rain stopped... only for a few minutes, but it was pretty amazing to see. After that few minutes it was a torrential downpour the rest of the time! I have never been so soaked in my life... but what an incredible experience!! So glad I was there to witness this amazing event!! I love to see the Temple!!
