We had some visitors this summer! Maddison and Nate Alleman came the same week! Nate took the day off and we started out exploring Hollywood's Walk of Fame and then ended it at the Griffith Observatory. While at the observatory we noticed that it seemed unusually busy for a Tuesday night. We finally asked and found out that Venus and Jupiter were the closest to the Earth that they had every been. So we got to look through a few telescopes and we could even see 4 of Jupiters many moons! It was so cool!
