First Day of School!

Payton and Owen started school on Wed! I know... it is July... crazy, we are on a modified year round schedule. They get two week off in October, 2 weeks off in Dec. and 2 weeks off in March!

Payton is in that really fun... fake smile phase! Don't you love it!

I took a picture of the classroom as I left! And I didn't even shed a tear! It helps she is only half day! 8:10-11:00 isn't very long! She seems to really like it. Today was her second day and she came in my room at 6am ready to go again!

Now for Owen's second year at Little Coyotes Preschool. He has his same teacher, Miss Amy, so this year was easy! When I picked him up his teacher said he is a pro and knows exactly what to do!

By the time I got home, I really only had about an hour and a half before I had to pick up Payton and then Owen right after. Not a whole lot of time to myself, but it was still nice!

Meet Bella

Payton is my over the top animal lover. The other day we suddenly had a cat, which Payton promptly named Bella. She wandered over to our house, for the record Nate fed her first, and then she continued to come. She was not allowed in our house, I am NOT a cat person, but she layed on our front porch for a few days. Every morning Payton and Owen would make sure we fed her and gave her water. Last night we had a storm and now Bella has disappeared. I kept telling Payton she probably went home. This seemed like someone's cat, not a stray, she was too nice. Anyway Payton is really sad, but I'm sure she will find a new animal to love soon!

The other day Payton's friend Abby called to see if she could come over and play. Payton always seems to be the one that has playdates and Owen really wanted a friend over, so we traded Payton for Nate, Abby's younger brother. Owen and Nate had a great time playing. It was so cute!
